Latvian Game Developers Association

About

LSIA was founded in 2014, but actually started its work already in 2007. The goals of the association are to promote the development of the Latvian Gaming Industry, mutual cooperation between game developers and to educate game developers in Latvia.

On the second Wednesday of each month, LSIA organizes an event GameDev Meetup , where game developers exchange experiences and share information about their achievements. Once a year, LSIA organizes a game competition BRSD and participates in the international game development marathon Global Game Jam. LSIA also participates in various exhibitions with a stand for Latvian game developers, for example, GameOn in Vilnius, Lithuania, UniCon and Riga Comm in Riga. Every year LSIA collects information about games created in Latvia, as well as awards the best game of the year.

The association also helps game developers gain support for participation in international exhibitions, as well as in 2017 and 2018, international game developer conferences were organized.
