Unknown Worlds is an independent game studio headquartered in San Francisco, CA. Our goal is simple, but not easy - to unite the world through play.

Unknown Worlds is a small, independent game developer. We are a global company with a tiny team. We seek the ultimate PC multiplayer experience, and are the proud creators of the Spark Engine and Natural Selection 2, amongst other technologies and games. Our nerve centre is in San Francisco, CA, where nine of our ~18 strong team are located. We also employ awesome people in the UK, Austria, Australia, and across the United States.We're currently working on Subnautica: Below Zero (in Early Access) and other unannounced projects.
