Hungarian game developer established in 1983. Formerly known as Novotrade International, they are most notable for creating Ecco the Dolphin.
Originally started in Hungary as Novotrade International, Appaloosa adopted their new brand in 1996 in preparation for a new generation - both of game consoles and of the Internet via their "Appaloosa Online" division.
The studio continued to produce games and ports up until 2006, at which point they closed their doors. Many of the staff on the Hungarian side of things went on to Mithis Entertainment.
