ERE Informatique was a French video game company, founded by Philippe Ulrich and Emmanuel Viau in 1981. Utilizing freelance developers, the company had some limited success. After financial trouble, Infogrames Entertainment gained control of the company in June 1987. An in-house development team and label, Exxos launched in 1988. After issues regarding royalty payment, Exxos' members left to form Cryo Interactive Entertainment in 1989.
