Flagship Studios
Flagship Studios was a game studio founded by former Blizzard North executives that had created the Diablo franchise as well were part of the development of Starcraft, Warcraft and World of Warcraft.

Flagship Studio primarely targeted PC as their main platform for their games. The game studio was founded after a dispute with their publisher Vivendi over development of Diablo 3. The game studio released Hellgate: London in 2007 and the game had similar RPG and action gameplay as Diablo. The studio CEO said at the time after the release that the project was to ambitious and that the game was released to early to be completly finished.
In 2008, the studio ran into financial trouble and had to lay off most of the team. During this time the team had been also developing the MMORPG game Mythos.
