About

Adeline Software International was a subsidiary of Delphine Studios and was based in France.

Formed in February 1993 as a result of creative disagreements between Infogrames and its Alone in the Dark dev team, Adeline Software International was a subsidiary of Delphine Software International headed up by Frédérick Raynal and a small, four man core team.

They produced three games - the two Little Big Adventures and Time Commando - before going silent in 1997. In the middle of that year, the core team was sold to Sega, becoming the short-lived No Cliché and effectively ending that iteration of Adeline.

Resurrection

In 2002, a financially-reeling Delphine resurrected the name with a new team to develop for the Game Boy Advance. They released one project - Moto Racer Advance - and got a ways into the development of Flashback Legends before the plug was pulled in 2003. Delphine bled to death a year later, and Adeline followed with it.
