Founded in 1995. They are located in Melbourne, Australia. THQ bought them in 2004. Their early work was mostly licensed games. Those included Nicktoons battle games, Barnyard and Jurassic Park among others. In 2008 they released de Blob for the Wii, their first original game in ten years. It gained good reviews from critics. 80 people worked at Blue Tongue Entertainment before, in 2011, Blue Tongue was announced to be closed down under a restructuring and realignment plan by parent company, THQ.
