Comptiq is a Japanese computer magazine, which also released a few ports of home computer games for various systems
The name Comptiq is a combination of computer and boutique (or store / trader) and was first published in Japan in the early 1980s. The magazine was initially a mere PC magazine but it later shifted its focus on games instead of hardware and computing in general. The magazine is still around but is nowadays known as MediaMix Game Magazine. In 1984 and 1985, Comptiq also released ports of popular home computer games for the PC-88, PC-89 and MSX, including titles such as Boulder Dash, Impossible Mission and Pinball Construction Set.
