A branch of Fox Film Corp., set up to create interactive entertainment.
A subdivision of 20th Century Fox, Fox Interactive developed and published games based on licenses of films developed by the parent company 20th Century Fox. The most successful game series based on 20th Century Fox franchises were Alien vs. Predator, The Simpsons and Die Hard. Fox Interactive also released a handful of sport games of popular American sports such as NBA Basketball and NHL Championship. In addition to a few original titles such as the Croc series and No One Lives Forever. In early 2003, Fox Interactive was acquired by Vivendi Universal.
