Groove Games was founded in 2001 by Jon Walsh, Michael Haines, and Trevor Fencott. The company opened Bedlam Games shortly thereafter, to act as their internally run development studio. Groove focused mainly on budget titles such as CTU: Marine Sharpshooter, World War II Combat: Road to Berlin, and Warpath. In 2006, the company opened Skillground, a website designed to allow players download and play games for free, and to compete against other players for fun, or for money, wagered before starting the match. The site has since shut down, and Groove closed it's doors sometime shortly thereafter.
