A Japanese development studio that specializes in role-playing games, and is best known for the Atelier series. Since 2011, it has been a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tecmo Koei.
Gust is most famous for it's Japanese role-playing games (J-RPG), such as the Atelier and Ar tonelico franchises. While few of its releases are big sellers, Gust remains a highly profitable company by keeping its production costs low.
After working with Gust for several years as a distributor, Tecmo Koei announced it was purchasing the studio in late 2011.
