Masaya was a subsidiary Japanese development studio of NCS, or Nippon Computer Systems, which primarily developed games for NEC's Turbografx-16/PC Engine.
Masaya is a Japanese video game brand, initially established by Japanese entertainment company NCS Corporation, Nippon Computer Systems, in 1984 for taking part in the video game market.
Masaya and their related products were transferred to Extreme Co., LTD. in November 2014 though a copyright assignment from NCS Corporation.
The Masaya name and catalog is currently owned by Extreme, who use the company's title as a brand line for the publisher's retro revivals.
