The company was founded in 1980. by Jerry Jewell and Nasir Gebelli, and gained attention for its dramatically quick rise to prominence, becoming well known in Apple II computer circles. In 1981, Gebelli left the company to found his own company Gebelli Software before going on to work with Squaresoft. In 1984, Sirius Software collapsed.
