Unique Development Studios (UDS), was a Swedish game developement studio founded in 1993 most known for Ignition and Airfix: Dogfighter. The company went bankrupt in 2004.
Unique Development Studios was founded in 1993. They were based out of Göteborg (Gothenburg) and Norrköping. They started out developing for the Atari ST and later moved to consoles and PC. One of their first bigger PC games was Ignition.
Aside from developing games, UDS also published some games such as the advertisement game mall maniacs. In 2000 they expanded by buying developer King of the Jungle. In 2003, UDS was purchased by Daydream Software. By 2004, Daydream Software decided to put UDS into bankruptcy.
