A Japanese developer of Arcade and console games. Best known for the Aero Fighters series.
Video System was a Japanese game developer and publisher founded by software designer Koji Furukawa, that operated between 1986-2004. They were initially known for developing Arcade games (mostly Mahjong sims) and would eventually produce games for other platforms, such as the Neo-Geo, SNES and Nintendo 64. They would go on to create the Aero Fighters, F-1 Grand Prix and Super Volley franchises.
Video System at one point renamed their US branch McO'River to produce games in the US. It would later be renamed back to Video System USA Inc.
Their complete game catalogue was acquired by HAMSTER in March of 2018.
