We, at VSTEP, are determined to make the world safer and more sustainable by developing innovative maritime and safety training simulation solutions.

Established in 2002, VSTEP, a family-owned software development company was founded to enable learning by our simulation technology. This was done to ensure that marine and safety professionals are trained in a highly realistic environment, without the risk, cost, and time associated with traditional training.

In the past 2 decades, VSTEP has been one of the main players in the market that challenged the maritime and safety training industries and has been able to bring about a paradigm shift in the training landscape by introducing state-of-the-art technology.

VSTEP will continue developing specialized training solutions for future seafarers, firefighters, and other safety professionals. This will prepare the professionals to face not only regular but also emergency situations at work, thereby making the world safer and more sustainable.

Our vision is to ensure that at least one third of the maritime industry has obtained their skills through our simulation technology. For that, we invest in continuous research and development of our software and other value-added innovations to ensure that our customers can offer the most effective maritime training.
