Yumekobo is an interesting Japanese video game development company due to its long and stories history before it actually became Yumekobo. Yumekobo originally started as Aicom, itself a company that was founded by a group that left Jaleco. Aicom was eventually purchased by Sega Sammy Holdings . After a few years this company then broke off from Sammy and founded a new comapny with funding from SNK and became Yumekobo.
Yumekobo the went on to make several games for the SNK Neo Geo game systems, mostly its Neo Geo Pocket Color and Arcade systems. The company would go on to develop Blazing Star, Pocket Tennis, Biomotor Unitron and Puzzle Link for SNK among other games.
