Zombie Studios was an American game studio based in Seattle and shipped over 30 games on PC, console, mobile and the web.
Their game genres ranged from puzzle, adventure, simulation, hunting, arcade, real-time strategy to first-person shooters. The studio had distribution and publishing partners such as Ubisoft, Activision, Atari, RealNetworks, Take2, Zango, Groove Games, THQ, BAM, Sony, Microsoft, Ignition Entertainment, Atlus, Disney and many more.
In January 2015 the studio shut down due to the owners retiring. This lead to former team members founding a new studio called Builder Box Games (nowadays called Hardsuit Labs) who have aquired several IPs of the studio, mainly Blacklight: Retribution
