Tokyo Sandbox started as an initiative by the local gaming community to bring indie games out of dark, enclosed spaces into the limelight. Indies are not a side show, but the main event. It is the next Supercell, GungHo or King.

The event is held in Spring, at Akihabara, the electronic mecca of the world. It sits at heart the largest metropolitan of the world, Tokyo. With its long history in gaming, Japan offers some of the finest gaming content to the world.
