Frozenbyte specialises in developing games for the PC. Their most well-known game Trine was released in 2009 on PC and PlayStation Network, and is also available on Mac and Linux.

A sequel, Trine 2, was released for PC/Mac, PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade in December 2011, and later made available for the Wii U. It was followed by another sequel, Trine 3.

Since then, Frozenbyte has been continuing to branch out, producing the adventure game Splot, the stealth game Shadwen, and the strategy RPG Has-Been Heroes.
