Independent developer based in Hanover, Germany.

Originally founded as Century Interactive in 1991 by Martin Schwiezer and Felix Unger. They started out developing games for the Amiga. In 1998 they renamed the company Reakktor. com and started focusing on PC MMORPG's, with their first title in the genre being Neocron, released in 2002.

Over the years the company name has seen some small changes, it was Reakktor Media between 2004 and 2014 and has gone under the name Reakktor Studios since then.
