Gamescom is a trade fair hosting a large trade expo for games, game-related services & hardware, as well as board games. It's organised by Game - Verband der deutschen Games-Branche held annually at the Koelnmesse in Cologne, Germany. The event brings together over 370.000 gamers and industry professionals from 56 different countries and is considered one of the biggest gaming expos of the year worldwide.

Over 1000 exhibitors, studios, publishers and professionals will present their newest projects to the media and public at the showfloor. Gamescom has also an separate business area where deals will happen among professionals privately and share their experiences with each other and other industry leaders.
