Iocaine Studios is an indie game development team that released ThreadSpace: Hyperbol and is currently developing Steam Bandits: Outpost.

Formed in 2006, Iocaine has a track record for innovation. Its first game, ThreadSpace Hyperbol, began as a student project but went on to critical acclaim, getting picked up for publication by Atari and receiving a Metacritic rating of 9.2 out of 10. In 2012, the company launched an ambitious new plan, becoming the first to successfully fund a multi-platform, transgaming, free-to-play app through Kickstarter called Steam Bandits. The team has since grown, but the company’s vision has remained the same: bring gamers closer with innovative games, and always treat the development team like family.
