Borealys Games is an independent developer based in Montreal, Québec.

In the early months of 2014, two friends got together to discuss the creation of a new game studio. They pitched a game project to investors and kicked off the pre-production of Mages of Mystralia in September of the same year. The team grew steadily as Mages of Mystralia finally shipped on PC, XOne and PS4. The debut title received praise from press and players alike, winning numerous awards and nominations for its design, art and music. Borealys Games strives to conceive games that have all the ingenuity and passion of indie games, while remaining polished and accessible; a feat made possible by the complementary experiences of its core team.
