Game Producers lead teams, initiatives and products from conception through launch and operation inside of the gaming space. They create and align teams to product vision, have a deep understanding of player needs, competitors and market conditions, and are able to balance scope, quality and time to predictably deliver at a high quality bar for players.

As a Producer II on an Unpublished R&D Product, you will be responsible for driving production efforts on a features team, supporting the development of player-facing systems. You will provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced producers. You will keep the players' experience, as well as the experience of dev teams within Riot, in mind as you track progress, deliver products/features, and organize priorities and goals. You will work within a cross functional team of engineers, designers and artists to support the team in delivering engaging experiences to our players. Your group will consist of Rioters across the globe, including Sydney and North America. You will report to a Senior Producer supporting the R&D Game Team.

Responsibilities:

Lead the day-to-day production efforts for a cross-functional development team

Drive sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and milestone execution

Ensure strong team health, culture, and efficiency

Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify requirements and align on goals

Track progress, manage risks, and ensure delivery of high-quality tools and features

Promote best practices in planning, estimation, and documentation

Coordinate across teams to unblock dependencies and align technical solutions

Communicate clearly and consistently with partners in multiple time zones

Identify opportunities to improve developer workflows and system scalability

Required Qualifications:

3+ years of experience as a Producer, Project Manager or similar role in game development.

Ample experience working with cross-functional and distributed teams.

Strong stakeholder management skills.

Experience leading teams through all feature development phases (planning, execution, delivery, post-release support).

Experience applying Agile and Lean development processes such as Scrum or Kanban.

Desired Qualifications:

Experience with the video game industry, in either live or multiplayer games. A background in digital project management/Agile project management/Scrum Master in a technology setting will also be considered.

Experience working with teams building metagames or core gameplay systems.

Mastery of production tools like Jira to track development and create accurate reporting.
