If you are an experienced UI/UX Designer who wants to participate in the creation of a new PC/Console title, this is your sign!
You will conceptualize and produce appealing interfaces that will enhance the art-direction of the in-game content. Your input will offer solutions that are intuitive, functional and aesthetically pleasing.
Your main challenges will include:
- Collaborate with your team to translate game systems and gameplay user-experience goals into intuitive interfaces that support and enhance the game look and experience.
- Produce schemes of global flows with detailed requirements in collaboration with Game Designers and Leads.
- Design and implement user interface/HUD and menu systems that are visually appealing, intuitive, and efficient.
- Collaborate with artists to create high-fidelity mockups to solidify design direction and planning regarding ergonomic and aesthetical expectations.
Qualifications:
- Past experience as a UI/UX Designer in the gaming industry;
- You have a passion for AAA games and other interfaces with added graphical value;
- Clear understanding and passion for the importance of design thinking & interest in emotional design;
- Clear understanding of the importance of user-centered design;
- Attention to detail, and good understanding of ergonomic constraints;
- Knowledge of the visual designs and interest in recent innovation within the field (games on various platforms and of all genres, graphic animations, etc.)
- Comfortable taking initiative in terms of graphics, brainstorming, research, and suggesting new and innovative ideas;
- Able to create pictograms, icons, buttons and their effects, and have skills in multimedia page layout and associated typesetting choices;
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite/Creative Cloud - Photoshop, Illustrator.
- Proficient in design and prototyping tools such as XD, Invision, Figma
