As a Software Engineer I, you will work on foundational systems and features that power a new R&D gameplay experience. You’ll join a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, and producers focused on building scalable, performant, and user-centric solutions. This role is ideal for early-career engineers who are eager to learn and contribute in a high-impact, collaborative environment. You will report to the Engineering Manager of your team.

Responsibilities:

Build and maintain software systems with guidance from senior engineers

Contribute to the development and testing of client, backend, and tooling features

Participate in code reviews and apply engineering best practices

Debug and resolve development issues in collaboration with teammates

Write clear documentation to support team knowledge sharing

Required Qualifications:

2+ years experience in professional software development

Proficiency in C++ and familiarity with software engineering fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, etc.)

Experience collaborating in cross-functional teams

Willingness to learn new systems and tools

Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and/or equivalent experience

Familiarity with Unreal Engine or other game engines

Experience with version control systems such as Perforce or Git

Exposure to multiplayer systems, content pipelines, telemetry, or build systems

Proficiency with Go and/or backend microservices
